Signature Vanilla Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners.

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    Add the softened butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined and smooth.

    Slowly pour in the milk while mixing on low speed until the batter is velvety.

    Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.

    Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Let cool completely before frosting with your favorite buttercream!
